New Camera!

Played around the the new camera today but haven't a clue what I'm doing. Need to read manual, but it's more fun playing than reading.

FO: Daphne & Delilah

This is the 2nd set of these guys I've made. I love this pattern and think it's one of Rebecca Danger's best!

I improvised the bow on Momma's head. Eyes came from 6060.etsy.com. Yarn is Patons Classic Merino Wool in Maize and That's Red colours. 3.75mm needles. Probably could have gone down to 3.5.

Momma is about 8-9" tall and baby is about 4".

I also received the much anticipated new book by Rebecca in the mail today! I think I'm going to take it down to the Book Bindery and get it spiral bound as I see it being very well used in the future!

I'm not sure who I'll make first but I'm participating in a swap in the Dangercrafts group on Ravelry.com and will definately use a pattern from the book!

Knitting in Advertising

I always love seeing knitting, crochet or other fiber arts in interesting advertisements.

This one was on the back of a magazine at my mom's house -- advertising Beauti-Tone paint.
